This will be the third and final (for the time being — more TBA in the Fall!) in a series of conversations about what it means to be socialized as a man and how we can support one another to deconstruct the toxicity of masculinity as we know it, unlearn the destructive power of patriarchy, and create a new culture of true gender equality. Men (and those socialized as men) are particularly encouraged to come listen, learn, and share, as are women and non-binary people willing to hold space and share their perspectives.
You may be interested in this conversation if you answer affirmatively to any of the following questions:
Do you identify as a man and wonder what more you could be doing to unpack male socialization and toxic masculinity? Do you identify as a woman or non-binary person and have a willingness to talk with men about the struggles you face in a male-dominated world? Have you hardly ever thought about any of this but have a curiosity and want to learn more in a non-judgmental space?
Join us for a safe, facilitated dialogue and tea session about sexism, toxic masculinity, gender terrorism and more. The conversation will be co-lead by Josh Blaine
, founder of «Committed Men,» and one or two others (women/nb persons) TBD.
